Shiam Frites

Shiam Frites possesses extensive experience in governance and company secretarial roles, currently serving as Group Company Secretary at RAC since July 2024. Prior positions include Governance Manager at Computershare from January 2023 to July 2024, and Group Company Secretary at Somerset Bridge Group from November 2018 to January 2023. Shiam previously worked at Pobl Group as Board Secretariat & Governance Officer from November 2011 to July 2018, and held the role of Sales Planner at Altron Communications Equipment Ltd from July 2010 to November 2011. Early career roles included EA to EVP Europe & Americas/Interline Manager at Qatar Airways and EA to Regional Manager UK & Ireland/Holland at Royal Jordanian. Shiam holds a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from the University of Benghazi (Garyounis), obtained between 1993 and 1996.
