Huw Davies

Huw Davies is an experienced technology professional with a strong background in systems management and support. Currently serving as the Open Systems Team Lead at Computershare since May 2012, Huw leads a team responsible for managing OpenVMS, Linux, AIX, and Solaris systems. Prior to this role, Huw worked at Hewlett-Packard Enterprise Services from January 2000 to May 2012 as a Regional HA Consultant, focusing on high availability (HA) solutions across the Asia-Pacific and Japan region. Huw also held the position of Account Support Manager at Hewlett Packard Australia Pty Ltd during this time. Earlier in Huw's career, an operations manager role was held at La Trobe University from 1985 to 1999. Huw holds a Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics from La Trobe University, earned between 1973 and 1980.
