Peter Ali

Peter Ali is an experienced finance professional with a strong background in leadership roles across various industries. Currently serving as Finance Director and Board Member for Computershare since August 2016, Peter manages approximately £70 billion of mortgage assets. Previously, Peter was the Chief Financial Officer at Brandpath Group, overseeing finance and IT operations in multiple countries. Roles at Wm Morrison Supermarkets included Finance Director - Operations and Head of Shared Services, where Peter was instrumental in implementing finance systems and managing large accounting functions. Earlier experiences at Hewlett-Packard encompassed various management positions, including Managing Director of the Bucharest Shared Service Centre. Peter started his career as Group Financial Controller at Phones International Group. Educational qualifications include a BSc in Maths & Management Sciences from The University of Manchester and a CIMA qualification as a Chartered Accountant.
