Robert Fromberg

Robert Fromberg serves as the Global Legal Head of Corporate Services at Computershare since January 2012, overseeing all legal aspects of M&A, strategic transactions, finance, real estate, and audit. Prior roles include General Counsel at Georgeson, managing legal and regulatory matters related to proxy solicitation, and Managing Counsel for Corporate Transactions & Initiatives, where responsibilities included chief US counsel for M&A transactions and corporate governance. Earlier experience includes Managing Director and Senior Counsel at The Bank of New York Mellon, providing corporate counsel to the Shareowner Services division, and various associate positions at prestigious law firms including Gibson, Dunn & Crutcher LLP and Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP, focusing on corporate, M&A, and financing transactions. Robert Fromberg holds a JD from New York University School of Law and a BA in Government from Cornell University.
