Micheal Covington

Micheal Covington began their career in 2001 as an Operating Room Assistant at High Point Regional Health. In 2006, they moved to Marsh Furniture Company as a Materials Coordinator. In 2016, they started a Freelance Web Developer Sole Proprietorship. In 2018, they joined Computerway Food Systems as a Software Engineer, where they developed an internal intranet application to help assist employees in finding information from different departments from a centralized location using Bootstrap, frontend AngularJS, backend NodeJs, SQL, MongoDB and Vanilla JS deployed on a local Linux server. Micheal also assisted in the development of a control systems machine capable of using motors and API's to use multiple cameras to scan barcodes.

Micheal Covington's education history includes a Bachelor of Science in Computer Software Engineering from Western Governors University, obtained between 2019 and 2021. Micheal also has an Associate's degree in Web Page, Digital/Multimedia and Information Resources Design from Guilford Technical Community College, obtained between 2014 and 2018. Additionally, they attended ECPI University between 2001 and 2002, studying Computer Technology/Computer Systems Technology. Micheal has also taken courses from Udemy Academy. Micheal Covington has obtained three certifications: CompTIA Project+ from CompTIA in April 2020, CompTIA A+ from CompTIA in January 2021, and TestOut PC Pro Certification from TestOut Corporation.
