Bill Atkinson

Bill Atkinson is the President and CEO of Atkinson Strategic Communications, a position held since January 2020, and serves as a Senior Advisor at COMSINT since June 2021. Previously, Atkinson was a Partner at 212 Communications LLC from June 2015 to January 2020, focusing on public relations and communications for businesses. Atkinson's extensive experience also includes a role as Senior Vice President at Weber Shandwick from July 2005 to June 2015, specializing in strategic communications and crisis management. Earlier career achievements include being a columnist and financial reporter at The Baltimore Sun from 1995 to 2005, and serving as Reporter/Editor for American Banker from 1990 to 1995. The journalism career began in 1984 as a reporter for American City Business Journals. Atkinson holds a Bachelor's degree in English Language and Literature from Saint Norbert College and pursued an MA in journalism at Marquette University.
