Mike Daugard

Mike Daugard joined Comstock Holding Companies®, Inc. (NASDAQ: CHCI) (“Comstock” or “Company”) in April 2019 as Senior Vice President of Acquisitions. Mr. Daugard is responsible for sourcing, evaluating, and executing institutional investment opportunities across all property types as Comstock increases assets under management and expands its portfolio of mixed-use and transit-oriented properties. Mr. Daugard negotiates transaction details, performs underwriting and due diligence, and works with the Company’s Executive Team to develop property-specific strategies designed to enhance asset performance and optimize risk-adjusted returns on investment.

Mr. Daugard joined Comstock with 20 years of experience and has closed more than $4.5 billion of transactions in his career. Prior to joining the Company, Mr. Daugard spent most of his career at Washington Real Estate Investment Trust with notable transactions including $850 million of portfolio sales and recycling capital into office, multifamily, and retail acquisitions. Mr. Daugard also held acquisitions and investment sales roles at Rubenstein Partners, JLL, Lowe Enterprises, and The Mills Corporation. Mr. Daugard has extensive public company experience, operational and portfolio management expertise, and key industry connections across all property types.

Mr. Daugard earned a B.S. in Finance from the University of Maryland at College Park, where he graduated cum laude with honors from the Business Honors and University Honors programs. He also served as an adjunct professor at his alma mater for six years.
