Vanessa Gomes

Vanessa Gomes has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and companies. Vanessa started their career in 2010 as a Receptionist at the InterContinental Johannesburg O.R. Tambo. Vanessa then took on the role of Concierge before transitioning to become a Revenue Controller, where they were responsible for auditing processes, policies, and procedures of the hotel. Vanessa also handled tasks such as checking night pack transactions, credit card disputes, and creating purchase orders.

In 2014, Vanessa joined InterContinental Hotels & Resorts as a Finance Administrator and worked there until 2016.

From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Credit Manager at Hyatt Regency before joining Westcon-Comstor in 2018. At Westcon-Comstor, their roles included Marketing Operations Analyst, EMEA Marketing Operations Specialist, and currently, they hold the position of EMEA Lead of Indirect Accounts Payable and Marketing Operations.

Vanessa Gomes earned a Higher National Diploma in Hospitality Administration/Management from Boston Business College in 2009-2010. Vanessa later attended the University of Johannesburg from 2022 to 2026, where they obtained a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting.
