Christopher Schexnayder

VP Of Engineering at Comtech Telecommunications

Christopher Schexnayder has over 18 years of work experience, starting in 2003 with the United States Air Force. During their time in the Air Force, they served as an Officer, working as an Electronic Warfare Systems Engineer and later managing a team of engineers and programmers. Christopher analyzed capabilities of ISR platforms and provided real-time support to deployed warfighters. Christopher also played a key role in developing a web-based interface for a Department of Defense database.

In 2008, Schexnayder joined Comtech Telecommunications Corp., where they held various roles including Systems Engineer, Sr. Systems Engineer, Engineering Manager, Director of Business Solutions Engineering, Sr. Director of Systems Engineering, and currently serves as the VP of Engineering since October 2021. In these roles, they demonstrated technical expertise by successfully completing contracts, authoring white papers, designing and overseeing the production of communication systems, and presenting technical briefings to customers and industry conferences. Schexnayder has shown a strong ability to manage budgets and deliver projects on time and within budget.

Christopher Schexnayder obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette in the years 1996-2002. Christopher then pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering at the U.S. Air Force Institute of Technology from 2006 to 2008. Later, they pursued a Global MBA at the Thunderbird School of Global Management from 2013 to 2015. Prior to their higher education, Christopher attended Destrehan High School, but no specific dates or degrees were provided for this period.
