Jorge Reyes Fiz is a seasoned professional in aerodrome operations and regulation, currently serving as the Head of Department for Aerodrome Operations and Rulemaking at AESA since February 2019, where responsibilities include team leadership, rulemaking coordination for national and international regulations, and representing Spain in ICAO committees. Prior to this role, Jorge served as an instructor on regulations compliance with EASA from January 2018 to November 2022, conducting training in various countries, and held the position of Aerodromes Regulation Compliance Supervisor at AESA for a brief period in early 2018. Jorge's extensive experience also includes positions as a Civil Aviation Engineer and Aeronautical Inspector, focusing on airport auditing and compliance, and prior roles in engineering and project management. Jorge holds dual degrees in Airports Management and Operation, as well as Aeronautical Engineering from E.T.S.I. Aeronauticos.
