Mike Shim

Mr. Shim is a Managing Director who leads the Operating Advisory Group, responsible for partnering with Comvest Partners and portfolio company management teams to drive value creation activities. Prior to joining OAG, Mike worked at the Gores Group for 5 years as Vice President of Operations where he provided company oversight, in-depth operational support and due diligence support on a wide range of portfolio companies and deals. Mike has also held operational leadership roles including SVP at Pacific Theatres where he helped to lead the movie theater business and Director of Strategy and Sales Operations at Gateway. Prior to Gateway, Mike spent four years at McKinsey and Company as Engagement Manager where he served clients in the high technology, consumer goods, and retail industries.

Mike received a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from Stanford University and an M.B.A. in Finance and Marketing from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
