Christian Elfers

Christian Elfers has over two decades of experience in the GeoIT industry, currently serving as Chief Technology Officer at con terra GmbH since October 1998. In this role, Christian is responsible for technology strategy, portfolio governance, and the evolution of GeoIT solutions. Previous positions include Director of con terra Technologies and Head of Products & Solutions, where responsibilities encompassed guiding product vision and managing a diverse team. Christian also served as Division Manager for INSPIRE/SDI Solutions in Europe and has held various roles, including Product Manager and Project Manager. Currently, Christian contributes to the 52°North Scientific & Technical Advisory Board and is a member of the Esri CTO Advisory Council. Christian holds a Master's degree in Geography/Geoinformatics from the University of Münster and is an Agile Coach as certified by Judith Andresen in 2018.
