Yisheng Wu has extensive experience in synthetic biology, enzymatic characterization, metabolic engineering, and strain development and engineering. They have held various roles at Conagen, including VP of Flavors and Fragrances. Prior to that, Wu worked as a Postdoc associate at Iowa State University, focusing on terpenoid biosynthesis and cytochrome P450 bioengineering. Additionally, they have experience as a Research Assistant at the National Institute of Biological Sciences (NIBS) in Beijing, where they studied plant abiotic stress. Wu holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from Iowa State University and a Bachelor's degree in Biosciences from Beijing Normal University.
