Jhynorka Romero

Jhynorka Romero is an experienced Internal Audit Manager at Nexi Germany, a position held since July 2018. Prior to this role, Jhynorka served as an Assistant Manager in Assurance Audit Services at EY from June 2015 to June 2018, and completed an intensive German course at Tandem Frankfurt in 2014. Jhynorka's earlier experience includes serving as Head of Accounting at Finance Corporate Institute VZLA from April 2013 to April 2014 and as an Assistant Auditor at KPMG from March 2011 to March 2013. Jhynorka holds a Diploma in Accounting with a focus on Rechnungs- und Finanzwesen from 2008 to 2013, and is currently pursuing further training in MaRisk with a focus on credit business as well as obtaining the CIA certification from the Institute of Internal Auditors, both commenced in 2023.
