Tyricia Miller has over 10 years of professional experience in accounting and finance. Tyricia began their career in 2011 as Controller/Accounting Manager at Asset Preservation Pros, Inc, a privately held Residential Construction Management Company with annual revenue of 4 million. In this role, they designed and implemented new accounting systems to monitor cash flow, process AR/AP, process journal entries, close properties (including job costing analysis), and complete month/year end Financial Statements. Tyricia also completed and reviewed Sales and Use Returns, Payroll Returns, Financial Statements. In 2013, Miller moved to Digital First Media as Accounting Supervisor, a privately held Media Publishing Company, a division of Digital First, with annual revenue of $80 million. In this role, they supervised ten accountants, mentored and trained them to process and post journal entries, and correct misstatements on reconciliations. In 2015, Miller joined Cardno, a publicly traded (on ASX) International Infrastructure and Environmental Services Company with annual revenue of $2 billion, as Senior Accountant. Tyricia was considered an expert and the main point of contact for accounting for Cardno US Division for Accounts Payable/Receivable, Payroll, Legal and multiple International/National Divisions. Tyricia also directed five accountants in period-end close by mentoring and training, providing process improvements, implementing management directives by developing new procedures, and identifying potential issues and solutions for management consideration. In 2018, Miller became Controller at Cobham, a publicly traded (on LSE) International Technology and Services Company with annual revenue of $140 million. In this role, they managed a team of 11, including Payroll, AP, AR, GL Accountants, and Cost Accountants in closing period-end books with statutory reporting, financial/variance analysis and rates calculations, and review of KPI’s. Tyricia also led the implementation of IFRS 16 for lease accounting and restatement of prior period books. In 2019, Miller joined Robert Half as Controller, a privately held corporations with annual revenue of $50 million. In this role, they managed team members in AP, AR, and general ledger accountants in closing period-end financial statements, including reviewing journal entries and reconciliations, completing financial statements and reviewing budget/actual variance analyses for four separate entities. Tyricia also corrected revenue recognition process resulting in an increase in revenue recognized YTD. Currently, Miller is Vice President Of Accounting and Interim Controller at ConcealFab Corporation, a privately held telecommunication manufacturing company with annual revenue of $50 million. In this role, they prepare financial statements and monthly reporting package used for decision making, external auditor and board member review. Tyricia also researches and manages compliance with new federal, state, and local legislation, to include constantly updating COVID legislation.
Tyricia Miller completed a Master's of Accounting in Forensic Accounting at Florida Atlantic University between 2016 and 2017. Prior to that, they received a Bachelor of Applied Science in Accounting from Colorado State University Pueblo between 2007 and 2011. Miller also earned an Associates in Applied Science in Microcomputer Accounting from Gateway Community College between 2005 and 2007.
