Joey Brown

Joey Brown is currently a Software Engineer at Concept Softworks. Prior to this, they worked as a Coding Instructor at Persevere from May 2021 to December 2021. There, they were responsible for teaching a class of 20+ incarcerated students the fundamentals of software development in both the prison environment and remote settings. Joey focused on contribution to curriculum creation within the instruction of the MERN stack. Joey was recognized for their excellent communication skills and leadership.

Before working at Persevere, Joey worked as a Software Engineer at the University of Arizona.

Joey Brown has a certificate in coding/full-stack web development from the University of Arizona.

They work with Andrew Nguyen - Software Engineer, Michael Rogers - Senior Engineer, and Will Clement - Software Engineer. Joey Brown reports to Tyler Olsen, CEO.
