Controls Engineer at Concept Systems

Cody Cichosz has a diverse work experience in various industries. They began their career as an Engineer Intern at Elkhart Plastics, Inc. in 2019, where they focused on designing systems and documentation to reduce defects and energy waste in plastic products. As a Recreation Assistant at Washington State University Vancouver from 2017 to 2020, Cody supervised outdoor recreation trips and managed gear rentals. They then transitioned to a role as a Mechanical Designer at Patriot Fire Protection in 2020, where they designed fire-sprinkler layouts and managed tenant improvement projects. Cody also worked as a Teaching Assistant at Washington State University Vancouver from 2020 to 2022, providing support to mechanical engineering students through grading assignments and holding office hours. Their most recent position is as a System Engineer at Applied Motion Systems, Inc. in 2022, and they are currently working as an Automation Engineer at Concept Systems Inc.

Cody Cichosz completed a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Mechanical Engineering at Washington State University Vancouver from 2015 to 2020. In February 2020, they obtained the Engineer In Training certification from NCEES. Cody then pursued further education and went on to earn a Master of Science (MS) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Washington State University Vancouver from 2020 to 2022.
