Iain Brearton has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Iain currently holds the position of Senior Automation Engineer at Concept Systems Inc, which they started in July 2022. Prior to that, they spent six years at GE Appliances, a Haier company. During their time there, they held various roles, including Advanced Manufacturing Engineer - Robotics & Electrical Software from June 2019 to July 2022, Advanced Manufacturing Engineer - Controls from January 2018 to June 2019, and participated in the Supply Chain Development Program, formerly OMLP, from January 2016 to January 2018. Before joining GE Appliances, Iain worked at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign as a Student A/V Worker and Student Technician in the ECE Department from May 2014 to December 2015. In 2019, they obtained the "Electrical Maintenance with R-30iB Controller" certification from FANUC America Corporation and the "DUAL CHECK SAFETY V7.50 & Newer" certification from FANUC America Corporation as well. In 2020, they acquired the "Advanced TPP Programming" certification from FANUC America Corporation. Most recently, in 2022, they obtained the "iRPickTool w/ iRPickPRO iRPickTool Operations & Programming" certification from FANUC America Corporation.
