Sam Dowdney

Sam Dowdney has held various roles in the cannabis industry since 2010, including Founder of a medical dispensary cultivation business, Co-Founder/Owner of Earthen Farms, and CEO & Chair of Genetics Committee at Emerald Grown. In 2016, Dowdney was a Project Developer/Business Analyst at Bloomfield Farms, where they worked on a facility design and business plan for indoor and mixed light cultivation, processing, packaging, and distribution. Currently, Dowdney is Director of Product Development at Conception Nurseries, where they started in June 2023.

Sam Dowdney obtained a Bachelor's degree in Geology from the College of Charleston in 2004. In 2015 to 2016, they received an Entrepreneurship Certificate from Santa Rosa Junior College. Sam also obtained various certifications such as Hemp Genetics and Breeding from Cornell University in May 2023, Leading People and Teams Specialization from the University of Michigan in March 2023, Managing as a Coach from Coursera in February 2023, Six Sigma Green Belt (CSSGB) from The Council for Six Sigma Certification (CSSC) in November 2022, Leadership Skills for The Future from LinkedIn in November 2022, and 30 Hour General Industry Safety and Health from the US DEPARTMENT OF LABOR OSHA in February 2021.
