Daryl Bonhaus

Daryl Bonhaus has a diverse work experience spanning over several decades. Daryl started their career as a Research Engineer at NASA Langley Research Center in 1986 and worked there until 2000. During their time at NASA, they gained valuable experience in research and engineering. In 2000, Daryl joined Symantec Corporation as a Senior Principal Software Engineer, where they contributed to the development of software solutions. After seven years at Symantec, they moved on to Concepts NREC in 2007. At Concepts NREC, they held various leadership positions including Director of CFD Development and Director of CAE Software Development. Daryl continues to work at Concepts NREC, demonstrating their expertise in software development and engineering.

Daryl Bonhaus has an extensive educational background in the field of engineering. Daryl earned their Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Cincinnati, where they studied from 1985 to 1990. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Fluid Mechanics and Thermal Sciences at The George Washington University, completing their studies between 1991 and 1993. Building on their qualifications, Daryl then attended Virginia Tech from 1995 to 1998, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Aerospace and Ocean Engineering. Throughout their education, Daryl focused on various aspects of engineering, specifically aerospace and fluid mechanics, highlighting their dedication and commitment to academic advancement in these areas.
