Joel V Taveras

Joel V Taveras currently serves as the CDPAP Regional Director at Concepts of Independence Inc since January 2014, focusing on the development and implementation of outreach strategies and ensuring proper operations within the CDPAS. Previously, Joel V Taveras was the Director of PACER (CDPAP) at Rockland Independent Living Center Inc from December 2004 to December 2013, where leadership led the program through significant system transitions that enhanced profitability and performance. Joel V Taveras has also held roles such as Director of Independent Living Services and Disability Advocate within the same organization. Educational qualifications include an Executive Certificate in Business Administration from the University of Notre Dame and various certifications related to nonprofit sustainability and social sciences from institutions such as Cornell University and the Universidad Católica Santo Domingo.
