Elizabeth Weinbaum has over 30 years of experience in the field of social work. Elizabeth began their career at CN Guidance and Counseling Services, Inc in 1989, where they worked as a Residential Program Manager and later as a Clinical Therapist. In 2000, they joined Family Residences and Essential Enterprises, Inc (FREE) as a Residential Director until 2007. During this time, they also worked in a private practice as a Clinical Supervisor/Consultant, providing supervision and consultation to students seeking licensing credentials and assisting with audit preparations. In 2007, they became the Associate Executive Director of Quality Improvement & Compliance at Concern for Independent Living.

Elizabeth Weinbaum obtained a Master's degree in Social Work from Adelphi University, during the years 1989 to 1993.
