Jillian McManus, MS, LMHC, CASAC-Master, NCC, currently serves as an Adjunct Professor at Long Island University, a position held since September 2023. With extensive experience in the mental health field, Jillian has worked at Concern for Independent Living since April 2016, progressing from Case Manager to Senior Case Manager and now Program Coordinator. Prior to this, Jillian practiced as a Psychotherapist in Private Practice at the Counseling & Mediation Office of Adrian Fields & Associates from January 2018 to November 2022. Additional experience includes an internship at the Center For Addiction Recovery and Empowerment in 2015 and a role as a Direct Support Professional from 2013 to 2015. Jillian's early career also encompassed positions as a Shift Manager at Neil's House of Flowers and a Sales Associate at Old Navy. Educational qualifications include a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Long Island University and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from St. Joseph's University New York.

Concern for Independent Living is a non-profit foundation dedicated to providing housing and support services to individuals and families that want to live in the community with dignity and increased opportunities. They are housing agencies of this type in the community, currently assisting those who are homeless in and around the region. Its goalis to offer homes that improve people's lives while also enhancing communities.
