Tom Sommer

Tom Sommer currently serves as an Institutional Funding Specialist at Concern Worldwide, focusing on ECHO and French-speaking countries while supporting country teams with donor requirements and proposal development. Prior experience includes roles at Handicap International - Humanité & Inclusion, where Tom developed funding proposals and established partnerships in Togo and Benin, as well as served as an EU Partnership Advisor overseeing relationships with DG ECHO. Additional experience spans positions at Expertise France as an EU Policy Officer, CARE as an EU Advocacy Assistant, and an internship at the European Union Delegation to the United Nations. Tom holds a Master's degree in European Governance from Sciences Po Grenoble and has degrees in Political Science and Sociology from Maynooth University and Université Lumière Lyon 2.
