Laurette McNear

Laurette McNear is an experienced professional with a background in social work and administrative support. Currently serving as a Foster Parent Recruiter at CONCERN - Professional Services for Children, Youth and Families since March 2017, Laurette is responsible for the recruitment of prospective foster families and the assessment and approval of potential resource parents. In addition to this role, Laurette has worked as an Assistant Administrator at Concern Counseling Services since December 2016 and previously held positions including Application Developer/IT Generalist at The IBS Group LLC and Network Administrator at Christian Stronghold Church. Laurette began a career in administration as an Administrative Assistant to the Executive Director at the Center for Urban Theological Studies. Laurette holds a Bachelor of Social Work degree from Virginia Union University, completed in 1978.
