Concertzender
Astrid Schenk is an accomplished art historian and educator with extensive experience in research and archival work. Currently serving as an Archiefmedewerker at Concertzender since May 2024, Astrid has also held positions as a researcher and writer at A.s. for Art since 2014, and as a docente kunstgeschiedenis at Vrije Academie | Kunst & Cultuur since 2016. Additional roles include freelance archiefcoach for Podiumkunst.net and journalist for Vereniging Rembrandt from December 2021 to April 2024. Astrid conducted art historical research focused on facial types in painting between 1450 and 1850, and participated as a medewerker kennisontwikkeling en participatie at Erfgoedvereniging Bond Heemschut. Previous positions include freelance advisor at DEN Kennisinstituut and art historian for projects at Limburgs Museum and the Koninklijk Museum voor Schone Kunsten Antwerpen. Astrid holds a Master of Arts in Research Master Art History from Utrecht University and a Bachelor of Arts in Art History from the same institution.

Concertzender
Concertzender is a non-profit music platform for divers music genres, like new extreme music, world music, jazz, blues, early music, classical and modern classical music. Started in 1982 as a public national radio station, most of the programming is nowadays done by a group of volunteers comprising musicologists, connoisseurs and critics. Concertzender also records and broadcasts live concerts that can be accessed via on-demand theme based channels from anywhere in the world using the Concertzender mobile application or website. Concertzender is a unique radiostation where you can enjoy old en new music without bothersome talking or ads.
