After graduating from Arizona State University with a degree in communications, Nicole spent years working in community-based organizations in Arizona focused on wellness, sustainability, and social impact. For over 15 years, she has been co-owner of Technicians For Sustainability (TFS), concentrating on renewable energy technologies and social impact business. She helped transition the company to an employee-owned organization and continues to speak across the nation about the move to more equitable and democratic business models. Over the past decade, her volunteer work has been in education-based board service with a focus on advocacy and development for several public school districts in Arizona. Most recently she has been involved at Concord Academy as Parent Council member and CARE Program co-chair. Nicole moved from Arizona to Somerville, Mass., with her family in 2020. She and her husband, Kevin, have two children, Emerson ’24 and Aiyana.
