David Edward

David Edward has over 20 years of work experience in various engineering and consulting roles. David started their career in 1999 as a Sole Practitioner, offering engineering consulting services to commercial and industrial clients in the areas of environmental, property, and energy. With a focus on environmental services, David conducted audits, investigations, and remediation projects. David also provided energy-related services such as HVAC system evaluation and lighting system analysis.

In 2004, David began their tenure at Ivy Tech Community College, where they served as the Engineering Technology/Design Technology Department Chair and Assistant Professor. David was responsible for department accreditation, course scheduling, and staffing, as well as teaching various engineering courses.

In 2010, David worked as a Professional Environmental Engineer contractor at IVI, a CBRE Company, and later at CBRE in 2013. In these roles, they provided environmental engineering expertise to clients.

Following this, they enrolled at West Virginia University and earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Petroleum Engineering from 1981 to 1986. Moving forward, David pursued higher education at the University of Louisville from 1987 to 1991, obtaining a Master of Business Administration (MBA) with a focus on Management, Economics, and Finance. Continuing their academic pursuits at the same institution, they pursued a PhD (ABD) in Urban & Public Affairs, specifically focusing on Public Infrastructure, from 1992 to 1997.
