Jim MacDonald

Jim MacDonald has extensive work experience in supply chain management and materials management. Jim has held various senior roles in different companies, starting with their position as a Planner at Foxboro Company in 1980. From there, they worked at Motorola ISG as a Business/Systems Analyst - Sr. Planner/Buyer until 1994. Jim then joined Speedline Technologies as a Materials Manager, where they successfully implemented Lean manufacturing tools and JIT inventory replenishment techniques, resulting in significant cost savings and increased inventory turns.

In 2002, Jim moved on to become the Materials Manager at General Cable, overseeing materials management until 2005. Jim then joined Partylite Gifts as a Materials Manager, where they managed planning, purchasing, and inventory control across four distribution centers worldwide. During their time at Partylite Gifts, they also took on the role of Manager Operations System Support, leading a team in the implementation of a Demand Planning/MRP system.

Jim's next position was as a Supply Chain Manager at Numark International, Inc., where they handled inventory planning, forecasting, and logistics for multiple brands sourced in Asia. Jim then joined Acushnet Company as a Production and Inventory Control Manager, responsible for managing production and inventory control processes.

In 2014, Jim became a Materials Manager at Kenney Manufacturing, overseeing materials management until 2016. Jim then joined Concord Foods as the Vice President of Supply Chain, where they achieved significant improvements in line uptime, inventory reduction, new product introductions, cost reduction, and freight spend reduction through various strategies and initiatives.

Jim MacDonald attended Bridgewater Raynham Regional High School. Jim then pursued higher education at the University of New Hampshire from 1975 to 1979, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science/Bachelor of Arts degree in Business Management.
