Mercedes Lopez

Mercedes Lopez currently serves as the Area Director of Sales and Marketing at Concord Hospitality Enterprises since February 2023, where responsibilities include overseeing sales goals, training staff, and marketing multiple Marriott properties. Previously held the position of Dual Director of Sales and Marketing at both the Courtyard by Marriott and Fairfield Inn and Suites SeaWorld. As the Director of Sales & Marketing at WaterWalk Hotel Apartments from July 2019 to January 2023, Mercedes led a successful revenue strategy, achieving significant growth in revenue and occupancy. Additional roles have included Director of National Sales at Rooms Unlimited, Membership Committee Chair for the San Antonio Global Business Travel Association, and various director positions within the Intercontinental Hotels Group. Mercedes holds a Certificate in Executive Development from Emory University's Goizueta Business School and has attended The University of Texas at Austin. Currently, Mercedes also serves as Vice President of the San Antonio GBTA Chapter.
