Nerea Grisalena

Nerea Grisalena has a diverse work experience in various industries. Nerea started their career as a Final Project Degree at Tecnodin S.L., where they redesigned machinery handwheels. Nerea then worked as a Graphic Design Intern at ICFO, creating designs and visuals related to Photonics and Light Sciences. Following that, they worked as a Freelance Web and Graphic Designer at COCREATE, where they designed illustrations, documents, and collaborated on brand identity.

Nerea then transitioned into the field of international trade as an International Trade Advisor at the Embassy of Spain - Economic and Commercial Office in La Paz. Here, they managed trade agendas for Spanish companies and conducted market analysis in sectors such as oil and gas, civil engineering consultancy, and renewable energies.

Afterward, Nerea worked as a Manufacturing CAD Engineer at LemuGroup, where they designed machinery drawings and enclosure for label rewinder machines. Nerea then joined BEGE Power Transmission as a CAD Design Engineer, responsible for creating production drawings, designing parametric models, and developing new products in the R&D team.

Most recently, Nerea has been working as a Product Development Engineer at Concord Neonatal. Their role entails proposing product improvements according to medical device regulations, defining user needs and technical requirements, and verifying and validating product and production changes.

Nerea Grisalena completed their Bachelor's degree (240 ECTS) in Engineering in Industrial Design and Product Development from Universitat Politècnica de Catalunya between 2010 and 2014. Subsequently, in 2015, they pursued a Postgraduate Diploma (30 ECTS) in International Business from Universidad del País Vasco/Euskal Herriko Unibertsitatea.
