Thalia Hawkins is an experienced professional in programming and international relations, currently serving as an Associate at Concordia since June 2021, where responsibilities have included roles as Coordinator and Partnerships Intern. Previous experience includes a Research Assistant position at the Youth Initiative for Human Rights in Croatia during a fellowship with the Harriman Institute and Public Relations and Fundraising work at Finding Refuge. Thalia has volunteered as a Research Assistant with UNHCR and held various positions within the National Panhellenic Conference Inc. and King's College London Politics Society, including Career Officer and Sponsorship Manager. Thalia’s academic background encompasses a Master of Arts in Human Rights Studies from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from King's College London, complemented by an Education Abroad Program at UC San Diego and an International Baccalaureate from St. Catherine's British School.

Concordia is most well-known for its Annual Summit, held during the time of the U.N. General Assembly in New York City. Since its founding in 2011, Concordia Summits have brought together over 3,500 participants, including 40 current and former heads of state, 450 international and Fortune 500 C-suite executives, prominent nonprofit leaders, and senior Congressional and Administration officials.
