Kory Smalzer, MM has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. In 2013, Kory worked as a Graduate Assistant at Roosevelt University, where they provided operational support, recruited student-athletes, and handled compliance regulations. From 2014 to 2015, Kory held roles at the Chicago Sport and Social Club as a League Operations Manager and Marketing Coordinator, overseeing hiring and training, regulations, and financial reports. They also worked as a Customer Relations Representative at Equinox, where they managed customer support and financial transactions.

In 2014, Kory played professional volleyball for Woman Volley (WoVo) in the Mestaruusliiga and Fédération Internationale de Volleyball (FIVB), collaborating with international teammates and adapting to different cultures.

From 2015 to 2016, Kory served as the Head Junior Girls Volleyball Coach and Volunteer Assistant Men's Professional B-League CVEC at Cambrai de Volley.

In 2022, Kory joined College Greenlight, a part of EAB, as the Commercial Director. They led commercial efforts and played a crucial role in expanding the organization's reach.

Currently, Kory serves as the Director of Partner Development for Global & Greenlight Match, a part of EAB at Concourse Global. They are responsible for counselor development, engagement, and partner development.

In addition to their professional experience, Kory co-founded the nonprofit organization Greater Than Zero Percent (GTZP) in 2020. GTZP aims to share stories of individuals and organizations making a positive impact by promoting awareness, education, and engagement.

Kory Smalzer, MM has a Master's of Management degree in Administration from Roosevelt University, which was obtained in 2014. Prior to that, Kory obtained a Bachelor of Professional Studies degree in Health Science from Roosevelt University in 2013. Before attending Roosevelt University, Kory studied Health and Physical Education/Fitness at Lipscomb University from 2009 to 2011. In terms of additional certifications, Kory obtained a Wine Apprentice Certification from Kendall College in February 2018. In March 2017, Kory obtained a Certificative Student Advising certification from Richardson. Additionally, Kory holds a Microsoft Office Specialist Credential (MCAS Certificate) from Microsoft Office, obtained in November 2014. Kory has also obtained CPR and AED certification from the American Heart Association in April 2012, as well as Heartsaver First Aid certification from the same institution in December 2011. Lastly, Kory has an IMPACT designation from USAV, although the specific month and year of obtaining this certification are not provided.
