David Wegman

David Wegman has extensive work experience in software engineering and technology leadership roles.

David is currently the VP of Software Engineering at Concrete.ai, a position they have held since May 2022.

Prior to their current role, David served as the Sr. Director of Software Engineering at Xylem from April 2020 to April 2022. During their time at Xylem, they led multiple software teams and oversaw design, development, QA, and devops engineering for Xylem Decision Intelligence, a platform serving water utilities worldwide.

Before joining Xylem, David held the position of CTO at Valor Water Analytics, Inc from January 2016 to April 2020. In this role, they had overall responsibility for the company's technology strategy.

David also served as the CTO, Cloud and Digital Media at Lexmark from April 2015 to December 2015, where they led a global team in building a service ecosystem for digital content management.

From March 2013 to April 2015, David was the CTO, Cloud and Digital Media at Perceptive Software, where they led a global technology group in migrating the company's legacy on-premises business to a cloud-based model.

In 2006, David co-founded Twistage, an online video platform, and served as the Co-founder and CTO until 2013. Prior to Twistage, they co-founded Roe River in 2004 as a partner, where they designed and implemented an enterprise-class content delivery platform.

Earlier in their career, David worked at Marimba / BMC from 1997 to 2004, where they held various technical lead and software engineering roles. David played a key role in the rewrite of the company's flagship Inventory Management product and led a major release of Timbale Server Management.

Before Marimba, they worked at EBT / Inso as a software engineer, where they significantly improved publish-time performance for the DynaText Publishing System. David also co-founded Forefront Technologies, a software consulting company, where they developed a study guide application suite.

Overall, David Wegman has a strong background in software engineering and technology leadership, with a focus on cloud-based solutions, digital content management, and enterprise platforms.

David Wegman attended Brown University from 1992 to 1996, where they pursued a double major in Computer Science and Political Science.
