Paul Bassett

Paul Bassett has a diverse work experience in the technology industry. Paul is currently working as a Senior Director, PD at Condor Computing Corporation since March 2023. Prior to this, they were a Principal Engineer at Uhnder, Inc. from November 2015 to February 2023.

Paul has also held leadership positions at Qualcomm, where they served as a Senior Director, Technology from August 2004 to November 2015. In this role, they were a member of the management team responsible for the development of high-performance, low-power DSP cores for Qualcomm's modems and SOC solutions. Paul focused on custom circuit design, physical design, DFT/DFD, power management, and silicon production.

Before Qualcomm, Paul worked as an AMD Fellow at AMD from 2002 to 2007, where they contributed to the company's innovation as well as a Senior IC Design Engineer at Alchemy Semiconductor from 1999 to 2003. Previously, they held various positions as a Senior IC Design Engineer at Ross Technology from 1995 to 1999 and as a Senior Engineer at Cadence Design Systems from 1994 to 1996. Paul'searly experience includes working as a Senior IC Design Engineer at Kendall Square Research from 1990 to 1994.

Paul Bassett obtained a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Texas A&M University in 1982. Paul further pursued their education and completed a Master's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology between 1982 and 1985.
