William Hibbs

William Hibbs has a diverse work experience in the maritime industry. William is currently the Chief Officer at Condor Ferries, a position they have held since January 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a 2nd Officer at the same company from December 2020. In 2016, they worked as a Lecturer specializing in Marine & Offshore safety training at Tyne Coast College. William also served as a 3rd Officer at Princess Cruises from July 2017 to October 2018. Additionally, they have experience as a Professional Driver at JH Coaches, Drury Coaches, and Sweyne Coaches. Before entering the maritime industry, they worked as a Trainee Deck Officer at Clyde Marine Training Ltd. William Hibbs has been dedicated to the maritime and transportation sector throughout their career.

William Hibbs obtained a Higher National Diploma in Nautical Science from South Shields Marine School in 2022. William also received a Certificate in Post Compulsory Education & Training from the University of Sunderland between 2019 and 2021. Prior to that, they earned a Higher National Certificate in Nautical Science from South Shields Marine School from 2013 to 2016. William completed their undergraduate degree in Criminology and Policing at Birmingham City University from 2011 to 2014. Additionally, they hold certifications as Chief Mate Unlimited II/2 and OOW Unlimited II/1 from the Maritime and Coastguard Agency.
