Buck Gashler

Buck Gashler has a diverse work experience in various companies and roles. Buck started their career as a Technical Writer at Digital Technology International, where they were responsible for writing user manuals and developing training materials for software applications. Buck then moved to Novell and held multiple positions, including Technical Writer, where they led documentation projects and wrote various forms of documentation for networking applications, and Product Manager, where they defined and developed product strategies for authentication and single sign-on products.

After Novell, Buck joined Caldera as a Product Manager, where they were responsible for product strategy and management of OpenLinux desktop and Volution Messaging Server products. Buck later returned to Novell as a Release Manager, coordinating activities associated with the release of security products and working with different groups within the company. Buck also served as a Product Manager, overseeing core team engineering, project management, support documentation, marketing, and sales for small business products.

Buck then joined Condrey Corporation as the Director of Marketing, leading customer and partner-oriented marketing initiatives and developing product messaging for inbound and outbound marketing activities. Buck also served as an on-site OEM representative at Novell. Most recently, they worked as an OEM Marketing Director at Condrey Corporation, developing product and solution messaging, working on marketing campaigns, and creating sales enablement materials for Micro Focus products.

Buck Gashler received their Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Brigham Young University in 1986. Prior to that, they briefly attended the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point in 1983. Later, Buck pursued a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Utah - David Eccles School of Business, completing it in 1998.
