Michael McAvoy has a diverse work experience that spans various roles and industries. Michael began their career as a High School Sports Reporter intern at the New York Post and The Community Newspaper Group in 2012, where they reported on high school sports and gained experience working under tight deadlines. Michael then joined Coyne PR in 2013 as an intern on the Auto+ Team, assisting with media tasks and utilizing software such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Cision.

In 2014, Michael became an SEO Content Writer at PCG Digital Marketing, where they focused on creating search engine optimized content. Michael later joined Hearts & Science in 2016 as an SEO Coordinator, and then transitioned to the role of SEO Strategist in 2017. During their time at Hearts & Science, they honed their skills in search engine optimization.

Currently, Michael is working at Conductor, starting in 2018 as an SEO Strategist in the Managed Services team. Michael progressed within the company and held positions such as Manager, Senior Manager, and currently Director of Customer Success. At Conductor, they led SEO customer success teams and played a pivotal role in ensuring customer satisfaction and success.

Michael McAvoy attended St. John's University from 2009 to 2011, but did not obtain a degree or specialize in any particular field of study. Michael then pursued a degree in Journalism and Media Studies at Rutgers University from 2011 to 2014.
