Justin Gallardo has over 16 years of professional experience in software engineering and development. In 2004, they founded Mirwin Consulting, L.L.C., a custom web design and mobile web app development shop. From 2006 to 2007, they worked as a Software Developer at GNI, where they developed and maintained tools for tracking customer's bandwidth utilization and managing DNS. In 2006, they were a Security Student at Oregon State University Network Engineering. Justin also worked as a Technical Lead at the OSU Open Source Lab, where they led and managed a team of developers to design and implement the multimedia player called "Watch & Listen" for the One Laptop Per Child project, built and maintained Python bindings for the Helix Media Engine, created and nurtured relationships between the OSL and many open source communities, including the AbiWord and Sugar projects, and ported the AbiWord word processor to the OLPC platform. In 2008, they were a REU - Software Developer at Oregon State University. From 2010 to 2012, they worked as a Software Engineer at Cart Logic. During this time, they were also an Engineering Manager and Team Lead - Software Development at Rackspace, the #1 managed cloud company. From 2016 to 2018, they worked as a Staff Engineer at ScaleFT. During this time, they also worked as a Software Architect, Principal Software Engineer, and Staff Software Engineer at Okta, Inc. Justin is currently employed as a Software Engineer at ConductorOne.
Justin Gallardo attended McNary High School from 2000 to 2004, where they earned a High School Diploma and a CIM. Justin then attended Chemeketa Community College from 2004 to 2005. Finally, they attended Oregon State University from 2005 to 2007.
