Caryl Smith is an accomplished healthcare professional with extensive experience in nursing and emergency services. Currently serving as a Registered Nurse Triage and Transfer Specialist at Conduit Health Partners since March 2020, Caryl has been with Mercy Health as an Emergency Room RN and Clinical Nurse since July 2014. Previous roles include Labor and Delivery RN at University of Cincinnati Physicians, Inc DBA from December 2013 to July 2014, Critical Care Registered Nurse at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center from March 2003 to October 2013, and Firefighter/Paramedic at West Chester Fire Department from January 2001 to May 2005. Caryl holds a Master’s degree in Family Practice Nursing from Ohio University (2020-2022), a Bachelor of Science in Emergency Room/Trauma Nursing from Ohio University (2014-2017), and an Associate of Science in Registered Nursing from Excelsior University (2006-2009), complemented by an Associate of Science in Fire Science/Fire-fighting from Cincinnati State Technical and Community College (2000-2004). Caryl completed a high school diploma at Fairfield Senior High School in 1999.
