George Shalhoub

George Shalhoub, MD, currently serves as the Medical Director of the Central Capacity Center at Cone Health, a position held since March 2021, where responsibilities include leading the development of a new command center. Prior roles include Medical Director of Triad Hospitalist at Wesley Long Hospital and Night and Admissions Medical Director for Triad Hospitalist Group. George has extensive experience as a Hospitalist and Medical Director in various healthcare settings, including FirstHealth of the Carolinas, CompHealth, and Cape Fear Valley Health System. George is a graduate of Case Western Reserve University, where residency in Internal Medicine was completed, and holds an M.D. from Ross University School of Medicine, along with a BS in Biology and minors in Biotechnology and Genetics from North Carolina State University.
