Christian Malanga has extensive experience in government affairs and legal counsel, currently serving in State Government Affairs at Con Edison since April 2018. Prior to this role, Christian worked at the New York State Assembly from October 2008 to April 2018, initially as Assistant Secretary for Program and Policy, focusing on energy, education, libraries, and transportation, and later as Associate Counsel for various committees, including Environmental Conservation and Energy. Christian’s legal career began as an Appellate Court Attorney at the New York State Supreme Court, Appellate Division, from 2007 to 2008. Christian holds a J.D. degree, cum laude, from Western New England University School of Law and a B.A. from the State University of New York at Albany.
