Dan Taft is an experienced engineering professional with a strong background in control systems and electrical engineering. Currently serving as Chief Engineer in the Control Systems Engineering Department at Con Edison since November 2011, Dan has previously held roles as Section Manager in the System Operation Department and various engineering positions within Con Edison, including Section Manager in Transmission Planning and Senior System Operator. Prior experience includes serving as an Engineer at the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission and working at The Hubbell Group and GE. Dan holds a Master of Engineering in Electric Power Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology.
