David Cabrera Salgado

David Cabrera Salgado is a seasoned Enterprise Architect at Con Edison, with over a decade of experience in IT-OT architecture and program management focused on cyber security and operational technology. In current roles, David oversees a $46 million IT capital portfolio for the Steam Business Unit, implementing cyber security strategies and leading cross-functional teams. Previous positions include multidiscipline design supervisor for mechanical, electrical, and civil projects, as well as management roles at Orange & Rockland and as a Sergeant in the United States Marine Corps, where technical leadership and operational readiness were prioritized. David also interned at NASA, gaining experience in additive manufacturing and surface metrology, and holds an MBA from NYU Stern and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from Columbia University.
