Coordinator Of Student Support Services at Conejo Valley Unified School District

Brian Murphy has served in various educational roles within Ceres Unified School District since September 2003, currently holding the position of Coordinator of Student Support Services since September 2004. In this role, Brian oversees mental and physical health services for approximately 13,000 students, including counseling and family support. Previous positions include Elementary School Principal, where responsibilities encompassed instructional leadership, school culture development, budget management, and staff supervision, as well as leading professional development sessions. Additionally, Brian has experience as Assistant Principal, Learning Director, and Administrative Assistant. Prior to joining Ceres Unified, Brian worked as a counselor with Families First, Inc. and St. Vincent's School for Boys. Brian holds a PPS School Counseling and a Master’s degree in Educational Counseling from National University, as well as a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from Sonoma State University, along with an Associate degree in Psychology from San Joaquin Delta College.
