Sarah Whitmire

Sarah Whitmire is currently the Director of Education at Conestee Nature Preserve since July 2016. Previously, she worked as a Teacher at Greenville County Schools from July 2011 to June 2016. She holds a Master of Arts in Secondary Education and Teaching from UGA Mary Frances Early College of Education, and a Bachelor's degree in Wildlife Biology from The University of Georgia. At Conestee Nature Preserve, Sarah teaches place-based, environmental education lessons to students ranging from preK to adults and is also in charge of training staff and education volunteers.
