Brenda Cassidy

Brenda Cassidy has extensive experience in corporate communications and government relations. Brenda currently holds the position of Director, Corporate Communications and Government Relations at Conestoga College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning, where they have been since September 2017. Prior to that, they served as the Director, Corporate Communications at the same institution starting from April 2014. Brenda's career also includes a role as Corporate Communications Manager at Conestoga College Institute of Technology and Advanced Learning, which they started in September 2010. Before joining Conestoga College, Brenda worked as a Communications Coordinator at the University of Guelph from 2003 to 2010, and as a Communications Director at the Ontario Corn Producers Association from 2002 to 2003. Brenda's early career includes a role as an Executive Director at AGCare from 1998 to 2002.

Brenda Cassidy completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.), Honours degree in English Language and Literature at the University of Guelph from 1976 to 1979. Later, they pursued a Master of Arts (M.A.) degree in English Language and Literature at the same university from 1982 to 1983.
