Ting-Yao Chang

Ting-Yao Chang has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Ting-Yao started their professional career working as a Corporal in The Republic of China Army from March 2016 to February 2017. Following that, they transitioned to the retail sector and worked as a Floor Supervisor at Shin Kong Mitsukoshi Department Store from April 2017 to March 2018. Ting-Yao then shifted their career path to focus on data engineering and analytics, working as a BI Data Engineer at CATCHPLAY - FOR MOVIE LOVERS, BY MOVIE LOVERS from November 2018 to December 2021. In this role, they applied machine learning and data mining techniques to create customer and marketing decision-support analytics. Ting-Yao furthered their expertise in data engineering by becoming a Senior Data Engineer at 浪LIVE_旭瑞文化传媒股份有限公司 (浪LIVE_Ascend Culture Media) from January 2022 to November 2022. In this role, they were responsible for data analysis and building dashboards using Grafana. Currently, Ting-Yao is gaining hands-on technical experience as an Information Technology Help Desk Support at Conestoga College starting from June 2023.

Ting-Yao Chang's education history begins in 2011 when they attended National Chiayi University, where they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Applied Mathematics, which they completed in 2015. After that, in 2018, they completed the Data Engineering and Data Analytics Intensive Training Program at the Institute for Information Industry. Then, in 2023, Ting-Yao received a Postgraduate Degree in IT Business Analysis from Conestoga College.
