Vice President Students at Conestoga College

Trish Weigel Green has extensive work experience in the field of library services. Trish began their career as a Librarian at McMaster University in August 2005, where they worked until April 2006. Following that, they worked as a Consumer Health Librarian at Kitchener Public Library from June 2006 to November 2007. Trish then joined Conestoga College in December 2007 as the Manager of Information Literacy & Resources and held this role until February 2015. Trish was then promoted to the position of Director of Library Services, where they worked from March 2015 to March 2019. Trish continued to advance their career at Conestoga College and became the Associate Vice President of Student Affairs in March 2019. Currently, they hold the role of Vice President, Students starting from February 2023.

Trish Weigel Green has a diverse education history. In 1999, they completed their Bachelor of Arts degree in Rhetoric and Professional Writing at the University of Waterloo. Later, in 2006, they obtained their Master of Library and Information Science (MLIS) from Western University. Recently, in 2021, Trish received a certificate in Diversity and Inclusion from Cornell University. Additionally, in February 2020, they acquired a certification as a NABITA Member from the National Association for Behavioral Intervention and Threat Assessment (NABITA).
