Ariana Chavez

Ariana Chavez is an experienced educator currently serving as a 6th Grade ELA teacher at Coney Island Prep since August 2022. Previously, Ariana held the same position at Dr. Richard Izquierdo Health & Science Charter School, where a promotion to Grade Team Lead occurred within four months of employment, showcasing leadership in communication and team operations. Additional professional experience includes roles as an Immigration Paralegal at the Law Offices of Spar & Bernstein and a Business Immigration Analyst at Fragomen. Ariana also interned with The Borgen Project, where article writing and congressional outreach were key responsibilities, along with internships focused on legal advocacy at The Legal Project and The Legal Aid Society.
